A specialist SEMH school is seeking a passionate and innovative Computer Science / IT Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time, long-term basis, with the potential to move into a permanent role for the right candidate.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
Deliver engaging Computer Science and/or IT lessons across KS2, KS3 and KS4
Inspire students through practical, creative and real-world technology-based learning
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs
Support students in developing both academic skills and confidence in using technology
Plan differentiated lessons and monitor student progress
Work collaboratively with pastoral teams, therapists and support staff to provide a holistic approach to learning
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Computer Science and/or IT
Experience working within SEMH, SEND or Alternative Provision settings is highly desirable
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
A passion for making technology accessible, engaging and relevant for all learners
The ability to motivate and inspire young people who require a more tailored educational approach
