Engage Education are currently recruiting for passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming school in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA or someone looking to build a career in education. Engage currently has a range of Teaching Assistant opportunities across Manchester, including mainstream, SEN and SEMH settings.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and interventions.
- Help pupils access the curriculum and reach their learning goals.
- Support pupils with additional needs where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
- Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils.
- Help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional and academic development.
About You

- A strong communicator and team player.
- Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker or Support Worker is desirable. Experience working with SEN, SEMH or challenging behaviour would be particularly beneficial.
Relevant experience is desirable but not essential for all opportunities.
