Engage Education are currently recruiting for a School Administrator to join a welcoming school in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and confident administrator who enjoys working in a busy school environment.

The Role

As a School Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Duties will include:

• Managing reception and welcoming visitors, parents and staff
• Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
• Maintaining accurate school records and databases
• Supporting attendance and pupil administration
• Assisting with admissions and pupil information
• Preparing letters, reports and general correspondence
• Providing administrative support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team
• Liaising with parents, staff and external agencies
• Maintaining confidentiality and following safeguarding procedures
• Supporting the wider school office team as required

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in administration, ideally within a school setting
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicating with staff, parents and visitors
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and school management systems
• Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Professional, reliable and approachable
• Committed to safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality

Experience with SIMS, Arbor or similar school systems would be advantageous.
