📚 TEAM TEACH TRAINED TEACHING ASSISTANT – MANCHESTER 📚

Engage Education are currently recruiting for experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across schools in Manchester.

We are looking for Team Teach trained TAs who are passionate about supporting children and young people, particularly those with SEN, SEMH and challenging behaviour.

👥 The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support
• Support pupils with SEN, SEMH and behavioural needs
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students
• Assist teachers with classroom learning and activities
• Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour
• Help implement individual education and behaviour plans
• Encourage pupils to engage positively with learning
• Work alongside teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
• Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment

⭐ Essential Requirements

Team Teach training is ESSENTIAL for this role.

We’re looking for candidates who also have:

✅ Previous experience working with children or young people
✅ Experience within a school, SEN or SEMH setting
✅ Confidence supporting challenging behaviour
✅ A calm, patient and consistent approach
✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
✅ The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, Learning Mentor, SEN TA, Support Worker or Youth Worker would be highly desirable.
