We’re delighted to have been accepted by the University of Brighton Academies Trust as a preferred supplier. This trust spans across Crawley, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Brighton, St Leonards and Hastings and will be supported by our fantastic Brighton team.
The University of Brighton Academies Trust was established in 2014 to build on the university’s success in Hastings and broaden the work of the Trust to Sussex and the surrounding areas, and with their wealth of experience, it’s seen positive results.
The UBATs vision shares 7 mission statements;
We’ve joined the UBAT’s preferred supplier list via the DfE CCS Framework, a supplier agreement we’re extremely proud of being a part of and have been advocating since its inception in 2018.
The CCS framework was developed to provide greater transparency of costs to help control supply teacher spend, as well as introduce standardised terms and conditions across the sector and establish a consistent approach to safeguarding and compliance.
There are only 122 suppliers listed on the CCS framework and we are extremely proud to feature on it. Our active participation and promotion of the CCS Framework have led Engage to join many other smaller Trust-led preferred supplier lists over the past 18 months. You can find out more about the CCS Framework and how it can benefit your organisation here.
To appear on the list of approved vendors, agencies have to set out their costs up-front – allowing schools to compare prices. Agencies must also be audited by one of DfE’s trusted auditing bodies. Engage has been consistently audited by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) since our inception because we believe that those operating in education recruitment should always be accountable.
Schools can hire staff through Engage with confidence, we adhere to the most comprehensive Compliance process, exceeding the expectations of most education agencies. You can read more about our Compliance here.
We are proud to have been selected as an agency that provides outstanding recruitment services to schools in the local area. Our commitment to schools includes the highest levels of safeguarding and compliance, first-rate customer service and transparency at all levels. We are committed to developing a deep understanding of each school we work with in terms of their ethos, and the wider context of each school’s needs and journey to better guide our candidate matching.
