About the role:

We’re currently looking for a warm, enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to work full-time in the early years department of a friendly Primary School in Mitcham, starting in January.
Our team has built an excellent reputation across Merton, and we’re looking for more high-quality early years staff to work with our schools and give their youngest pupils the best possible start.
Our early years practitioners’ duties can include:
Working with small groups of children in Nursery and Reception
Leading play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS
Providing intervention and 1:1 support where needed
Supporting early phonics, communication and language development
Observing children and contributing to their learning journeys
The ideal applicant will have:
A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working with Nursery or Reception children, ideally in a school setting
A real passion for early years education and improving outcomes for every child
Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging young learners
