Engage Education is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Caterham.

The school is looking for a confident classroom practitioner who can take responsibility for a Year 4 class, deliver engaging lessons and create a positive learning environment where pupils can thrive.

The Role

As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
• Take responsibility for the progress and attainment of pupils within the class
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other members of staff
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Hold UK QTS
• Have experience teaching within a primary school
• Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
• Be confident with planning, assessment and classroom management
• Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to pupil progress
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be able to work effectively as part of a wider school team
