Therapist

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work across the Hertfordshire area.

This is a flexible, long-term opportunity with the potential for ongoing work. Hours: 5–15 hours per week, offering flexibility around your existing commitments.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Speech and Language Therapist with experience of working with children and adolescents with special educational needs. 

The successful candidate will support pupils with a wide variety of needs, helping them to develop their communication skills and maximise their ability to access and engage in education.

You will have the opportunity to work across educational settings, providing high-quality assessment and intervention tailored to the individual needs of children and young people. Responsibilities may include assessment, individual and group therapy, class-based interventions, developing therapy programmes and working collaboratively with teaching staff, families and other professionals.

The successful candidate will need to be able to work confidently both independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking for a flexible position that can fit around other professional commitments.

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant Speech and Language Therapy qualifications
• HCPC registration
• Experience working with children and/or young people
• Experience of working with children with SEN and/or additional needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team
• A proactive and flexible approach
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centred therapy
