Are you a creative and passionate Secondary Art Teacher looking for your next long-term opportunity?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the South Manchester area from September. This is a full-time, long-term position, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on students’ creativity and artistic development.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).
• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and motivate students.
• Mark and assess students’ work in line with school policies.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where creativity can flourish.
• Contribute to the wider life of the Art department and school community.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Art within a UK secondary school.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A passion for inspiring young people through creativity and the visual arts.
• Commitment to planning, assessment and delivering outstanding teaching.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
