The Role

As a Maths Lecturer, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive Maths lessons across Entry Level, Functional Skills and GCSE.
• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching that supports learners of all abilities to achieve their potential.
• Monitor student progress through effective assessment and feedback.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes achievement and confidence.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the Maths curriculum.
• Contribute to departmental activities, student recruitment events and quality improvement initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• A recognised teaching qualification for the Further Education sector.
• Experience teaching Maths within Further Education or a relevant educational setting.
• GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics.
• Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
• A passion for helping learners develop the mathematical skills they need for further study, employment and everyday life.
