About the role

We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible, day-to-day basis, providing classroom support to cover both planned and unplanned staff absences, often at short notice. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work while making a positive impact in local primary schools.

As a Bank Staff Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis, working with small groups, or assisting the class teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

What do I need?

• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable.
• A positive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
• Good behaviour management skills.
• An understanding of safeguarding and the ability to follow school policies and procedures.
