Are you an experienced SEND Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Teacher to join a specialist SEND school dedicated to supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs.

The school provides specialist education for pupils with Autism and complex learning needs across a range of pathways, including:
- Early Stage
- IMPACT – supporting pupils with severe ASD and complex medical needs
- KS1
- KS2

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ individual needs.
- Support pupils with Autism and complex learning needs to achieve their educational and personal targets.
- Create a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families to support each child’s development.
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
- Follow and implement positive behaviour strategies, including the CALMS approach.
- Be willing to provide personal care where required.
- Contribute to EHCP reviews and work collaboratively with the wider school team.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
- ECTs will not be considered
- Previous experience teaching within a SEND setting.
- Experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs.
- Comfortable providing personal care when required.
- Ability to work within a positive behaviour framework using CALMS.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
