Are you passionate about working with children and looking to gain a recognised qualification while earning a salary?

We are working in partnership with a number of welcoming primary schools across Haringey to recruit aspiring Teaching Assistant Apprentices for September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience while completing a fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship, worth over £7,000. Throughout the programme, you will receive dedicated support from experienced school staff and your apprenticeship provider, enabling you to develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to become a qualified Teaching Assistant.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will:

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 within the classroom.
• Work with individuals and small groups to improve learning outcomes.
• Assist teachers in preparing engaging lessons and classroom resources.
• Support children with additional learning needs, including SEND and EAL.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Develop your confidence and classroom practice while working towards your qualification.

What You’ll Receive

• £55–£65 per day while completing your apprenticeship.
• A fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification worth over £7,000.
• Full-time employment (Monday to Friday) in a supportive primary school.
• Dedicated mentoring from experienced school staff.
• Ongoing support from your apprenticeship provider.
• Excellent career progression opportunities, including the option to progress to a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification upon successful completion.
• A pathway into teacher training and other careers in education.

We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for working with children.
• A positive, enthusiastic and reliable attitude.
• Good English and Maths skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to working five days per week for the duration of the programme.
• Previous experience with children is desirable but not essential.
