Engage Education is working with secondary schools across Haringey to recruit Graduate Behaviour Teaching Assistants.

This role is perfect for graduates interested in safeguarding, youth justice, social work, psychology, counselling, or education.

The Role

You will work closely with pastoral teams, safeguarding leads, and teachers to support students who require additional behavioural, emotional, or pastoral support.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs

• Assisting with behaviour management strategies

• Delivering mentoring and intervention sessions

• Helping to promote attendance and engagement

• Supporting safeguarding and wellbeing initiatives across the school

We Are Looking For

• Graduates from any degree discipline

• Calm, professional, and resilient individuals

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• An interest in safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people

• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
