A friendly and supportive primary school in Watford is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident practitioner looking to take on a varied role and make a meaningful impact across the school.

The Role

• Delivering lessons and providing class cover when required
• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Leading small group interventions to raise attainment
• Working closely with class teachers to support pupil progress
• Assisting with planning and preparing learning resources where required
• Promoting positive behaviour and helping to create an inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a recognised HLTA qualification or has equivalent experience
• Experience working within a primary school setting
• Confident leading whole-class learning and intervention groups
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Flexible, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential
