Engage Education is proud to launch its SEND Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Programme in partnership with 21 primary schools across Tower Hamlets.
This unique opportunity has been designed for aspiring Teaching Assistants, graduates, career changers, and individuals looking to build a rewarding long-term career in education.
What Is Included?
Full-time paid SEND Teaching Assistant role in a mainstream primary school
Fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification worth over £7,000
Opportunity to progress onto a Level 4 qualification at no cost
Dedicated training and mentoring throughout the programme
Practical classroom experience supporting pupils with SEND

About the Programme
You will be employed as a SEND Teaching Assistant within one of our partner primary schools, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including:
• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• ADHD
• Speech and Language Needs
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
• Moderate Learning Difficulties
Working alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals, you will develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives while completing your qualification.
The programme runs for approximately 11 months, combining hands-on classroom experience with structured professional development and training.
