Engage Education is working with a warm and nurturing nursery setting in Worthing to recruit a full-time Nursery Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children’s development and enjoys working in a fun, caring, and engaging environment.

The successful candidate will support the nursery team in providing a safe, stimulating, and positive setting where children can learn, play, and thrive.

About the role:

• Supporting children with play-based learning activities
• Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes and outdoor play
• Helping to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment
• Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and educational development
• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Working closely with nursery staff to deliver high-quality care
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

About you:

• Experience working with young children is desirable but not essential
• Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passionate about supporting early years development
• Reliable and willing to learn
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and families
