I am currently working with a SEN school in Leeds (LS28) who are seeking Autism Support Workers to cover on a short term flexible basis.

About the role of an Autism Support Worker:

The needs of the pupils they cater for range from:

• Autism (verbal and non-verbal)
• Learning difficulties
• Complex needs

You will ideally have experience in supporting children with special educational needs or will have a passion for working with students with special educational needs. Working with Theatre in Education (TIE) or workshops with children are beneficial. By being proactive and taking initiative, you are going to be able to build relationships with students and gain knowledge of a wide variety of needs.
