Short-Term Year 2 Teacher – Primary School – Three Rivers, Hertfordshire

Role: Year 2 Class Teacher

Engage Education are currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Three Rivers who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a short-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and supporting pupils during an important stage of their primary education journey.

The Role:

• Teaching a Year 2 class and delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (desirable)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for supporting young learners to achieve their full potential
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
