Your Responsibilities

As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to:

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
• Help deliver engaging learning activities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Assist with literacy, numeracy, phonics and classroom interventions
• Support children with their emotional, social and academic development
• Prepare classroom resources and learning materials
• Promote positive behaviour and help create an inclusive learning environment

Requirements

To be eligible, you’ll need:

• A commitment to completing the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship (approximately 11 months)
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above (preferred)
• The right to work in the UK
• To not be enrolled on another government-funded course
