We are working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Watford who are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September.

Whether you have previous school experience or are looking to start a career in education, we have a range of opportunities available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

The Role

• Supporting pupils in the classroom to access learning and remain engaged
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
• Assisting class teachers with lessons, activities and classroom organisation
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND
• Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, proactive and adaptable
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
