About the role

This is a full-time role in which you will be expected to deliver well-planned lessons and strong behaviour management. The school’s Humanities department pride themselves on the inspiring and engaging curriculum they teach along with the extra-curricular offering available. 

This is a temp-to-perm position starting in September 2026 but the school would be able to make adjustments for an earlier start for the right candidate. 

You will be working alongside an extremely supportive and collaborative department with a team of excellent practitioners. Teachers will also have access to the school’s internal CPD programme.

The ideal candidate

• Extensive experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and GCSE
• Strong teaching background
• Available for interview and observation
• Committed and proactive in regards to engaging students
