Secondary English Teacher Required for School in Bradford

A successful and ambitious secondary school in Bradford is currently seeking a creative and passionate English Teacher to join its dedicated team on a maternity cover basis from September. The school is looking for an outstanding practitioner who is committed to improving student progress, attainment, and engagement across Key Stages 3 and 4. About the role

This is a full-time maternity cover position starting in September. You will be expected to deliver engaging, well-planned English lessons that inspire a love of language and literature, while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

The ideal candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching English Language and English Literature at Key Stage 3 and GCSE
  • Strong subject knowledge and a proven track record of securing positive outcomes for students
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Available for interview and lesson observation
