A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Watford is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and challenge pupils as they prepare for the transition into Upper Key Stage 2 and beyond.
The Role
- Full class teacher responsibility for a Year 5 class
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Creating a stimulating, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes
- Preparing pupils with the knowledge and skills needed for a successful Year 6
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff to maximise pupil achievement
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Upper KS2
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Committed to helping every child achieve their full potential
