The Role

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Supporting children with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and adapting activities to meet individual learning needs
• Supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour and social development
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP targets and support plans
• Promoting a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting is desirable
• Patient, caring and able to build positive relationships with pupils
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Calm, proactive and adaptable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
