We’re recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming primary, secondary and specialist schools across the Leeds area. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a rewarding career while making a genuine difference to children’s lives.
Your Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll:
- Support pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language needs and other additional learning needs.
- Work one-to-one and in small groups to help pupils achieve their full potential.
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
We’re Looking For
You don’t need previous school experience—we value the right attitude just as much as experience.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience working with children or vulnerable adults (schools, care, residential, youth work, nursery or similar).
- A patient, caring and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships quickly.
- A genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
A Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial but not essential.
