The Role

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Supporting children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
• Implementing EHCPs and individual support plans
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and parents to support pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting is desirable
• A patient, caring and empathetic approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Calm, resilient and proactive attitude
• Passionate about making a positive difference to children’s lives
