Religious Studies Teacher

A superb secondary school in Tameside is eager to find a fantastic Religious Studies Teacher able to provide high quality education to KS3 & KS4 students in a full-time capacity for the coming academic year.

This is a full-time Religious Studies Teacher position due to a long-term MAT leave in which the successful candidate will be required to plan and conduct lessons across the Religious Studies subject for KS3 & KS4 students. The school are open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, with an impetus being placed on finding a Teacher passionate about student development and the ability to engage.

Religious Studies Teacher – Role Information:

• Planning and conducting high quality KS3 & KS4 Religious Studies learning experiences 
• Teaching across the Religious Studies subject
• Monitoring student progress and feeding back to relevant department lead
• Located in the Manchester area
• Paid £140 – £200 per day during term time
• September 2026 start – Monday to Friday role with usual school working hours

Religious Studies Teacher – About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status – Secondary Humanities 
• Minimum 2:2 UK based degree 
• Good or better prior teaching observations 
• Naturally outgoing and supportive individual  
• Available for long-term or permanent work
