A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Hertfordshire is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to help shape children’s first experiences of school and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

The Role

• Full class teacher responsibility for a Reception class
• Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework
• Creating a stimulating, inclusive and child-centred learning environment
• Supporting children’s academic, social and emotional development
• Assessing, monitoring and tracking progress through observations and assessments
• Working closely with parents, colleagues and support staff to ensure every child reaches their full potential

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early child development
• Creative, nurturing and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences for young children
