Engage Education are working with a fantastic secondary school in the Rochdale area who are eager to find a flexible, outgoing and reliable Progress Mentor to provide superb academic support to KS3 & KS4 students across GCSE subjects.

In this role as a Progress Mentor, the successful candidate will be required to provide fantastic 1:1 & small group learning experiences for KS3 & KS4 students with SEMH needs across a variety of subjects. This is a brilliant opportunity to work alongside experienced education professionals whilst developing your skillset and techniques in an educational setting. 

Progress Mentor – Role Information:

• Providing 1:1 & small group academic support to KS3 & KS4 students with SEMH needs
• Creating and sustaining meaningful rapport with students
• Working across variety of subjects throughout academic year
• Monday to Friday role – September 2026 to July 2027
• Located in the Rochdale area – Based in one secondary school
• Paid £90 – £98 per day during term time

Progress Mentor – About You:

• Minimum 2:2 UK based degree – 2026 graduates welcome!
• Experience teaching, tutoring OR mentoring
• Enhanced DBS on update service desirable but NOT mandatory
• Available to start immediately pending regulatory vetting checks
