Primary Teacher – Hassocks
Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 | Full-Time | September 2026 Start
Engage Education is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Hassocks area to recruit a dedicated Primary Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026.

About the role:
- Teaching a class within either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on experience
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress to ensure every child achieves their potential
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Working collaboratively with the wider teaching team to share best practice
- Contributing to the wider life of the school and supporting extracurricular activities where appropriate
About you:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Passionate about delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Able to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
