A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Watford is seeking a passionate and caring Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to play a key role in supporting children at the very beginning of their educational journey.

The Role

• Full class teacher responsibility for a Nursery class
• Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development through play-based learning
• Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress through observations and assessments
• Working closely with parents, support staff and the wider Early Years team

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Nursery
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
• Creative, nurturing and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
