A vibrant and supportive secondary school in Hertsmere is seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join their thriving Arts department. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and develop a love for music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at KS5.

The Role

• Delivering engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Teaching a range of skills including performance, composition and music theory
• Preparing students for GCSE Music examinations
• Supporting and leading extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands and school productions
• Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress
• Creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Music at secondary level
• Strong practical and theoretical music knowledge
• Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Willingness to contribute to the wider school community
