The Role

• Supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 within the classroom
• Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and boost progress
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and the delivery of engaging lessons
• Supporting children with a range of learning needs, including SEND
• Promoting positive behaviour, confidence and independence
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to the class teacher where appropriate

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting is desirable
• A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
