Learning Mentor – Littlehampton
Full-Time | September 2026 Start
Engage Education is working with a supportive school in Littlehampton to recruit a Learning Mentor for a full-time role starting in September 2026.
As a Learning Mentor, you will support pupils who require additional encouragement to engage with their education and achieve their full potential.
About the role:
- Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
- Delivering mentoring sessions on a 1:1 basis
- Encouraging positive attitudes towards learning
- Supporting attendance, engagement, and confidence
- Working alongside teachers and pastoral teams
- Promoting emotional wellbeing and resilience
- Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
About you:
- Experience supporting children or young people is desirable
- Empathetic and patient approach
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
- Reliable and organised
- Committed to safeguarding
