A welcoming and supportive primary school in Watford is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident practitioner to support teaching and learning across the primary phase.

The Role

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Delivering small group interventions and targeted support sessions
• Leading whole-class lessons in the absence of the teacher
• Supporting pupils with a range of abilities, including those with SEND
• Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom organisation and pupil progress tracking
• Promoting a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds HLTA status or has relevant classroom experience
• Previous experience working within a UK primary school setting
• Confident leading groups and managing classroom behaviour
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive, adaptable and passionate about supporting children’s learning
