A friendly and welcoming primary school in Three Rivers is seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented school environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

The Role

• Opening and closing the school site each day
• Carrying out general maintenance, repairs and basic DIY tasks
• Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are safe, clean and well-maintained
• Conducting routine health and safety checks
• Liaising with contractors and overseeing site access when required
• Supporting with the setup of school events, meetings and activities
• Monitoring site security and responding to any maintenance issues promptly

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous caretaking, maintenance or site management experience is desirable
• Good practical DIY and maintenance skills
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to work
