What are my visa options?

Sponsorship Visa
The sponsorship route to teaching in the UK is the most popular option for teachers relocating from the USA. Once we have secured a position for you at your preferred school, you can apply for a Skilled Worker visa in the UK. These visas are designated for occupations experiencing worker shortages in the UK, particularly Physics, Science, and Maths teachers.

Family Visa
If you have a parent, spouse, civil partner, or child who holds a UK passport or is already settled in the UK, you can begin your teaching career in the UK on a family visa. With a family visa, you do not need to have secured a role in the UK before starting the relocation process. However, we will begin finding the perfect position for you and putting you forward for online interviews before you arrive.

Qualifying Passports
If you hold a British or EU passport, you can start working as a teacher in the UK immediately. If you have a passport from Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent and the Grenadines, or Trinidad and Tobago and also have UK ancestry, you will also be eligible to work as a teacher in the UK.
