About the Role

As an HLTA working across all year groups (EYFS to KS2), no two days will be the same. You will play a pivotal role in providing dynamic cover for PPA time, subject leadership release, and targeted group interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in the absence of class teachers
• Maintaining high expectations of learning and the school’s excellent standards of behaviour
• Leading targeted literacy, numeracy, and booster interventions for small groups
• Supporting class teachers with resource management and pupil assessment
• Adapting learning materials to ensure pupils with SEND and varied learning needs are supported
• Building positive, encouraging relationships with pupils and staff across the entire school

We are looking for a reliable, confident practitioner who can step into different year groups with ease and enthusiasm.

Requirements & Skills:

• Qualifications: HLTA status, a relevant Level 4 qualification, or extensive experience leading whole-class teaching in UK primary schools
• Experience: Proven track record of classroom delivery across primary age groups (EYFS–KS2)
• Skills: Excellent classroom and behaviour management (supported by the school’s fantastic ethos)
• Adaptability: Confident in stepping into different year groups and delivering diverse subjects
• Interpersonal: Strong communication skills and a warm, collaborative approach
