Part of our core business is supporting academies and trusts in Norfolk and Suffolk. We entered into a preferred supplier agreement with the Waveney Valley Academies Trust in June 2020 to achieve just this.
Waveney Valley Academies Trust was formed in 2017 following on from the success the Sir John Leman High School saw. As a multi-academy trust, they have built a partnership with 6 schools in the area where ‘children and young people, their families and our colleagues will be valued, challenged and believed in.’
Waveney Valley has a proven track record for rapid and sustained school improvement, achieved through delivering effective leadership, embedding tried and tested systems and ensuring an innovative, strategic approach to change.
We joined Waveney Valley Academies Trust as a CCS approved supplier to help with their longer-term recruitment needs – which meant the trust only looked to partner with recruitment agencies who were accepted onto the CCS Framework back in 2018.
The CCS Framework was launched by the Cabinet Office and Department for Education in 2018 to provide transparency of costs, control supply teacher spend as well as introducing standardised terms and conditions across education recruitment and establish a consistent approach to safeguarding and compliance. At Engage, we’re proud to be named as a supplier on the agreement, highlighting our commitment to fair, compliant and efficient recruitment practices. Find out more about the CCS Framework here.
Only 17% of agencies in the UK are listed as a preferred supplier on the CCS framework – with no extension available for agencies who wish to join now.
Joining frameworks involves a thorough tendering process – for local MATs, it’s important that preferred agencies can prove they’ll be able to deal with the capacities needed for staffing the schools within the framework, as well as meeting a number of compliance requirements.
We work hard to make sure we exceed all compliance requirements for education recruitment agencies. We’re REC audited and compliant with all government legislation and guidelines.
