Hampshire Council joined forces with the CCS Framework and Reed in 2019 to launch a managed supply service for teaching staff. They’ve quickly become the top provider for temporary staff in Hampshire since then.
All bookings are managed via the Reed supply booking platform, which schools in Hampshire are able to use for free. There are many benefits for schools and supply staff to use the framework – including ensuring they adhere to procurement law, Compliance, cost-saving and transparent and fair rates of pay.
Schools in Hampshire can use the system to place orders themselves for both long-term recruitment needs as well as contingency bookings. It’s quick and easy to use and using a managed service ensures that schools can manage their own recruitment pipeline.
At Engage Education, we’re proud to have joined this framework. While the framework isn’t yet mandated in Hampshire, it may become so in the future.
A key benefit for schools recruiting staff through this framework is the advanced level of Compliance involved. At Engage, we already have a very stringent Compliance process in place and being a Gold Standard Audited agency by the REC, and featuring on the CCS Framework highlights this. On top of our current process, candidates looking to work with us on the Hampshire County Council framework also need to provide 10-year work history, 5 years worth of references and undertake an EPS check, which ensures the sector is safeguarded.
Working in Hampshire presents teaching staff with a huge benefit – they can work through the managed supply service which ensures they are paid a guaranteed minimum rate with opportunities for higher rates of pay and you’re paid quickly and smoothly.
Our dedicated Hampshire team are on hand to help you whether you’re looking for staff or supply opportunities.
