Jay Treloar

Jay has worked for six years at extended and senior leadership level with responsibilities ranging from overseeing achievement, behaviour and attendance, as well as line managing both the English and Humanities faculties. Jay has worked with Engage to help build the Partnership and Development team alongside Mike.

Mike Conaghan

Mike is the Managing Director of Even Better If… (EBI), an organisation that supports school development. Mike is a very experienced former teacher and school senior leader with a diverse set of skills including teaching and learning development, whole-school behaviour management and inclusion. Mike has been a key go-to for Engage with regard to our NTP delivery, not only because of his educational background, but because of the work EBI does around small group tuition and particularly around delivering to EAL pupils.

Mike and the EBI team’s work with Engage over the last couple of years has been crucial in shaping our approach to tutoring as we strive to support schools to deliver optimal outcomes for their pupils.
