Engage Education is recruiting an enthusiastic Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Elmbridge, Surrey, from November 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience while completing a fully funded 11-month Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.

No previous school experience is required! We’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for supporting children.

Your Responsibilities

• Support pupils individually and in small groups
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
• Help children develop their literacy, numeracy and phonics skills
• Support pupils with additional learning needs
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and engagement
• Help create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable learning environment

Requirements

• Available to start in November 2026
