About the Role
As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will take ownership of planning, delivering, and evaluating an engaging, broad-based curriculum designed to build academic confidence, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- Assessing, tracking, and recording pupil attainment, using progress data to inform targeted classroom interventions.
- Cultivating a safe, positive, and structured learning environment that supports both academic growth and social-emotional development.
- Collaborating with the SENCo and support staff to ensure pupils with SEN, SEMH, or EAL needs are fully integrated and supported.
- Building strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community.
Who We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT status (both Early Career Teachers and experienced KS2 practitioners are welcome to apply).
- Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, assessment frameworks, and effective teaching methodologies.
- Classroom Management: Excellent abilities in maintaining positive behaviour, pupil engagement, and classroom structure.

Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Full eligibility to work in the UK with professional teaching references covering the last two years.
