We are currently recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming schools in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting children and wants to make a real difference to their learning, development and confidence.
The Role
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Work closely with class teachers to support learning and development
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required
- Assist pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
- Support literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum activities
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement
- Help pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills
- Assist with classroom preparation and daily activities
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s education
- Patient, caring and enthusiastic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Reliable, adaptable and proactive
- SEND experience would be advantageous
