This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive department and teach motivated students, helping them develop a deeper understanding of human behaviour, cognition, and psychological theories. The role will primarily involve teaching A Level Psychology, with the opportunity to contribute to related subjects depending on your experience and the needs of the school.

The Role

As a Psychology Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Psychology lessons, primarily at Key Stage 5.
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire learners.
• Prepare students for external examinations through effective teaching, assessment, and targeted intervention.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically and develop independent learning skills.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and departmental success.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching A Level Psychology within a secondary school or sixth form setting.
• Possesses excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Psychology.
• Has strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Is committed to achieving outstanding outcomes for students.
• Can motivate and inspire learners to achieve their academic potential.
