Engage Education is recruiting Primary Cover Teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis across a number of friendly and supportive primary schools in Haringey from September 2026.

The Role

As a Primary Cover Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 using the school’s planning.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils can learn and thrive.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with each school’s policies.
• Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups, and classroom environments.
• Ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.
• Provide clear feedback to the class teacher at the end of the day.

We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A flexible, reliable, and professional approach.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff quickly.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
