Are you a recent graduate looking to find a meaningful, full-time role supporting secondary students with challenging behavioural needs?
An inclusive, forward-thinking and inspiring secondary school in the Rochdale area is eager to find a brilliant Student Mentor to provide key 1:1 academic, social and emotional intervention support to a KS4 student with complex behavioural needs for the coming academic year.

Student Mentor – Role Information:
- Providing key 1:1 academic, social and emotional support to student with SEMH needs
- Building and sustaining genuine rapport with student throughout the academic year
- Helping student overcome academic barriers in various subjects
- Monday to Friday role – September 2026 to July 2027
- Working hours: 08.30am to 15.15 pm
- Paid £93 per day during term time
Student Mentor – Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
- Prior experience tutoring, teaching or volunteering with children or young adults
- Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Passionate about the development of children
