Engage Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in a number of secondary schools across Greenwich for September 2026.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across a range of subjects.
• Work with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence.
• Assist pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND, where required.
• Help prepare classroom resources and maintain an organised learning environment.
• Encourage positive behaviour and support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents to promote a supportive school environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children or young people in a school, tutoring, youth work, sports coaching, or a similar setting (desirable but not essential).
• Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting students’ learning.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is proactive, adaptable, and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Is considering a long-term career in education or teaching.
