The Role

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and effective lessons
• Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning
• Delivering targeted interventions to support literacy, numeracy and pupil progress
• Supporting children with a range of learning needs, including SEND
• Preparing classroom resources and assisting with daily classroom organisation
• Promoting positive behaviour and helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working within a UK primary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring and proactive approach
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential
